Unequivocally, Atlanta, Georgia has the largest African-American Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual and Transgender (GLBT) population in the country.  During Labor Day Weekend, Atlanta hosts more than 100,000 African-American same gender loving individuals who come from across the country to celebrate life, love, unity and pride. For the past several years Atlanta, GA has played host to thousands of visitors attending Atlanta’s Black Gay Pride Weekend, producing some of the most spectacular events, all designed to empower and entertain attendees.

Beginning Wednesday, September 1, 2010 – Monday, September 6, 2010, attendees from across the country will convene in the city of Atlanta to participate in events and activities that impact and influence the GLBT community. As part of the weekend celebration, we have partnered with HIV/AIDS organizations that consistently work toward developing programs and initiatives to decrease the spread of HIV/AIDS in the African-American community.  HIV/AIDS is the second leading cause of death among African-American males and females ages 18-44.
